Benue at 50: PDP guber aspirant calls for renewed commitment, responsible leadership

Benue State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr. Peter Terwase Tortiv-Ato, has called for renewed collective commitment by Benue citizens and stakeholders to building a safer, united, and more prosperous state.
Engr Ato who made the call in a press statement signed by Msugh Benjamin Director of Communications Ato Governorship Campaign, 2027 on the occassion of Benue at 50, described the Golden Jubilee as “a moment of deep reflection”.
He noted that over the last five decades, Benue has distinguished itself as the Food Basket of the Nation, built on the hard work of its farmers, the enterprise of its people, and the cultural richness of its diverse communities.
He added that from its formative years to the present day, Benue has been shaped by sacrifice, perseverance, and a collective determination to build a better society.
