A group known as Former Guber Candidates Forum of Nigeria For Goodluck/Sambo 2015, has adopted President Goodluck Jonathan for 2015 presidential election.

The group made up of former gubernatorial candidates across the 36 states of the federation in a press conference addressed in Abuja by its Chairman, Chief Kenneth G. Gbalikuna, said it was adopting President Jonathan for presidency based on the achievements his administration has recorded so far.

He noted that the present administration has performed creditably well and therefore deserved a chance to continue its good work to take Nigeria and Nigerians to the promised land.

Gbalikun noted that the administration has established nine Federal Universities within two years, several Almajiri and Nomadic schools across the Nation to promote educational development to the grassroot, and had constructed rail tracks of several hundreds of kilometers amongst others.

While appealing to all Nigerians to support the reelection bid of President Jonathan in 2015, Gbalikuna said they have stepped up preparations to promote the campaign for him, come 2015 in terms of posters, billboards, leaflets, Radio and TV jingles, Newspaper adverts, and press conferences.

According to the group, “Based on the achievements of the Goodluck administration, the humility and other special qualities of the President, his fairness, even handedness, the part of the country where he is coming from, where no one has ever ruled Nigeria and as a detribalized Nigerian, the Former Guber Candidates Forum is passionately appealing to all Nigerians to give their consent to Mr. President come 2015 through the ballot box”
