The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria has said Nigeria is witnessing a new wave of transformation under the administration of President Bola Tinubu, noting that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda created opportunities that enabled young leaders to thrive.
The National Chairman of YOWICAN, Amb. Belusochukwu M. Enwere, stated this during his thanksgiving and reception ceremony to mark the successful completion of his five-year tenure in Imo State.
Enwere said the Tinubu administration had inspired a renewed sense of purpose among Nigerian youths, describing the President’s vision as the driving force behind many of the milestones recorded by the organisation during his leadership.
He said, “With deepest reverence and appreciation to the First Family of our great nation, I thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Your Renewed Hope Agenda has been the mighty wind beneath our wings.
“You ignited a national awakening that made space for young leaders like us to rise, innovate and serve. Under your transformative vision, Nigeria is experiencing a renaissance where hope is no longer a slogan but a living reality that has directly fuelled every milestone YOWICAN achieved during my tenure.”
The YOWICAN chairman also commended the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for what he described as her unwavering support and generous contributions to the organisation’s programmes.
According to him, her interventions helped empower vulnerable persons and inspired many young Nigerians to pursue their dreams.
“Your compassion has funded our programmes, lifted the vulnerable and inspired a generation of young people to believe that their dreams are valid,” Enwere said.
He also expressed gratitude to the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for supporting his emergence and success as National Chairman.
“I owe an eternal debt of gratitude to my governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. You saw the light and untapped potential in me when others looked away.
“Your mentorship, partnership and belief transformed a personal calling into a national movement,” he said.
Enwere further acknowledged the support of Seyi Tinubu and members of the Tinubu family, whom he described as a strong pillar throughout his tenure.
“You never allowed Christian youths to lack anything during my tenure. Thank you, Seyi Tinubu. You are the hero of Christian youths in Nigeria,” he said.
The YOWICAN leader also appreciated the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, religious leaders, his family members and associates for their support during his time in office.
“As I give thanks to God Almighty today, I do so with joy, knowing that the seeds planted under the Renewed Hope Agenda will continue to yield abundant harvests for YOWICAN and Nigeria,” he added.
