The race for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency seat has gained significant momentum as frontline aspirant Sarah Ivie Adidi officially declared her 2027 ambition, promising a “new era” of inclusive and grassroots-driven representation for the people of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
During a high-profile courtesy visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Bwari over the weekend, Adidi met with the newly elected party executive committee to formalize her bid.
Her visit served a dual purpose: congratulating the new leadership and outlining a transformative roadmap for the constituency.
Adidi’s pitch to the party and the public centers on moving away from “business as usual” politics toward a model of governance that prioritizes the everyday needs of Bwari residents.
She identified the Area Council as a strategic powerhouse in FCT politics that deserves a stronger, more vocal presence at the National Assembly.
”Bwari is a critical component of the FCT’s political landscape. My vision is to transform AMAC/Bwari into a model constituency through transparency, accountability, and people-oriented programs that raise the standard of living for everyone”, Adidi stated .
The aspirant was warmly received by the APC Bwari Chairman, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, alongside the Women Leader and other key stakeholders.
The atmosphere was one of optimism, with party leaders emphasizing the importance of unity ahead of the 2027 polls.
Hon. Musa expressed the party’s readiness to provide a level playing field and support Adidi’s aspirations, noting that her commitment to the grassroots aligns with the party’s goals for collective progress.
As the political climate begins to warm up, Adidi’s early declaration signals a proactive approach to legislative leadership.
By focusing on a collaborative framework involving community stakeholders and federal agencies, she aims to bridge the gap between policy at the national level and its actual impact on the streets of Bwari and AMAC.
