Former Lagos State spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Seye Oladejo, has formally entered the race for the House of Representatives seat for Mushin Constituency II ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Oladejo picked his nomination form on Wednesday, declaring his intention to offer what he described as effective and people-oriented representation at the National Assembly.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, he said his ambition was driven by a desire to serve the constituency at a higher level and address its developmental needs.
“Mushin deserves a strong and vibrant voice at the National Assembly, one that will champion development, empowerment and the welfare of the people,” he said.
The former APC spokesperson added that his experience within the party and understanding of governance would position him to deliver meaningful legislative impact if elected.
Peoples Daily reports that his declaration has generated enthusiasm among party members and stakeholders in the constituency, many of whom view his entry as a boost to the APC’s chances in the race.
Oladejo is widely regarded within party circles as a seasoned communicator and loyal party figure, having played a prominent role in promoting the APC’s policies and programmes in Lagos State.
