The Yobe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its commitment to unity, internal democracy, and political stability, while commending key party stakeholders for what it described as “mature and patriotic decisions” ahead of the party’s upcoming political activities.
In a statement issued by the State Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, the party praised Distinguished Senator Ahmad Lawan, Senator Musa Mustapha, Alhaji Lawan Kolo Geidam, and Alkali Baba for their voluntary and strategic posture.
According to the party, their actions reflect a deep sense of responsibility, unity, and commitment to the APC family in Yobe State.
The statement noted that the development had further strengthened the confidence of party members and demonstrated the spirit of cohesion that continues to define the APC in the state.
The party also paid glowing tribute to Governor Mai Mala Buni, describing his leadership as a stabilising force that has ensured peace, reconciliation, and effective conflict management within the party structure.
It stated that Governor Buni’s leadership style, anchored on dialogue, inclusiveness, and reconciliation, has remained a major pillar of unity not only in Yobe State but also within the national framework of the APC.
The statement further referenced his national assignment as Chairman of the APC Presidential Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilisation, saying it reflects the confidence reposed in him by the national leadership of the party.
The APC also expressed appreciation to the national leadership of the party, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for its continued trust in Governor Buni’s capacity to manage strategic party assignments.
As political activities intensify ahead of forthcoming primaries and other electoral milestones, the Yobe APC called on all members, stakeholders, and supporters to remain united, disciplined, and focused on sustaining the prevailing peace and progress within the party.
Reaffirming its position, the party emphasised its unwavering commitment to fairness, inclusiveness, and internal democracy as guiding principles for future political engagements.
