Founder of the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative (WODDI) Mrs Nneoma Rochas Okorocha has announced plans for the fourth edition of the WODDI Inspiring Women Summit, aimed at empowering women and supporting vulnerable members of society through mentorship, motivation, and capacity development initiatives.

The summit, scheduled to hold later this week with the theme ‘Position Until Something Happens’ is expected to bring together women from different backgrounds to discuss leadership, entrepreneurship, personal development, and social impact.

Speaking ahead of the event, Okorocha said the summit was designed to inspire women to maximise their potential and contribute meaningfully to national development.

She noted that the initiative aligns with the organisation’s broader commitment to promoting hope, empowerment, and social transformation, particularly among disadvantaged groups and underserved communities.

She further said that WODDI has spent nearly 17 years implementing programmes focused on family development, youth mentorship, faith-building, and economic empowerment.

“Our passion is centred on women, families, youths, widows, vulnerable persons, and people living with disabilities. The essence of life is the ability to give hope to people who have lost hope and put smiles on the faces of those who have forgotten how to smile,” she said.

According to her, the summit will provide participants with practical insights, mentorship opportunities, and encouragement to overcome social and economic barriers.

Okorocha stressed the importance of empowering women as critical drivers of community development, adding that equipping women with the right knowledge and support systems would help strengthen families and society at large.

She further reaffirmed WODDI’s dedication to programmes that uplift the less privileged and create opportunities for sustainable growth and self-reliance.

The annual summit has continued to attract participation from women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and young people seeking inspiration and personal development opportunities.
