The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the outcomes of its primary elections for both Senate and House of Representatives seats in Plateau State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The results were declared in Jos on Tuesday night by the Chairperson of the Primary Election Committee, Stella Oketete, who stated that the exercise was conducted peacefully and transparently across all constituencies.
According to the announcement, several prominent party figures secured tickets for the House of Representatives, including Beni Lar for Langtang North/Langtang South, Dachung Bagos for Jos South/Jos East, Yusuf Adamu Gagdi for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, and Simon Mwadkwon emerging as the senatorial candidate for Plateau North.
Others declared winners include Simon Lalong for Plateau South and David Barji for Plateau Central.
Ms Oketete said the primaries were conducted without violence or major disputes, noting that the party was satisfied with the level of participation and organisation across the state.
With the exercise concluded, APC says it is positioning itself for a strong contest in Plateau State as preparations continue toward the 2027 general elections.
