The North West Regional Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pastor Solomon Ipila, has urged Nigerians to draw closer to God and remain in the “Glory Realm” to experience preservation and success despite the economic and security challenges facing the country.
Pastor Ipila made the call on May 21, 2026, while delivering the keynote sermon at the 2026 anniversary celebration of the House of Purpose Ministry in U/Sunday, Chikun Local Government Area in Kaduna.
Speaking on the theme _“The Glory Realm,”_ he said only a consistent walk with God could shield citizens and guarantee progress in difficult times.
He told the congregation that Nigerians were facing rising hardship, insecurity, and uncertainty, and that human effort alone would not be enough to navigate the situation.
“This is the time for Nigerians to seek God more than ever before,” he said. “When you have the glory of God, you enjoy the grace of God, and that grace makes you great.”
According to him, the Glory Realm is the atmosphere of God’s manifest presence where believers enjoy divine protection and mercy. He said those who dwell there are preserved from destruction and positioned for favor even when circumstances are unfavorable.
Quoting Lamentations 3:22, he reminded the audience that it is God’s mercy that keeps people from being consumed. He added that Isaiah 4:5 describes the glory as a covering and defense, noting that families and communities that stay close to God will not be abandoned.
Pastor Ipila said the current situation in the country required more than political solutions. He called on citizens across religious and ethnic lines to return to God with sincerity, stressing that national restoration begins with personal commitment to Him.
He outlined practical steps believers could take to remain in the glory, including maintaining a lifestyle of prayer, worship, and fasting. He explained that these practices help believers stay sensitive to God and open to His direction in times of crisis.
The pastor urged young Nigerians not to lose hope but to anchor their lives on God’s word and seek His face for direction. He said desperation for God, rather than desperation for wealth or power, would bring lasting transformation to individuals and the nation.
Speaking to journalists at the celebration, the Senior Pastor of House of Purpose, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf, thanked God for sustaining the church through 19 years of ministry. He said the journey had not been without challenges, but expressed gratitude that the church was still standing strong.
Apostle Yusuf acknowledged the economic and social pressures Nigerians are facing but said the church would continue to advance its mission. “The church is marching on, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” he declared.
He also admonished Nigerians to draw closer to God in this season of challenges, saying only God has lasting solutions to the nation’s problems. He urged citizens to reject despair and seek divine intervention through prayer and righteousness.
Apostle Yusuf commended the guest speaker for delivering a timely message, saying it reinforced the church’s commitment to raising believers who trust God in every situation. He said House of Purpose would continue to be a place of hope and restoration for the people of Kaduna and beyond.
Several members of the congregation said the message came at a time when many Nigerians were anxious about the future. They noted that the call to seek God offered both comfort and direction.
In his closing remarks, Pastor Ipila prayed for peace, stability, and economic recovery in Nigeria. He declared that those who remain in God’s glory would see His hand intervene in their personal lives and in the affairs of the nation.
