Uzor Kalu urges Nigerians to unite for national progressFrom Bashir Rabe Mani in Sokoto
Former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Sen Orji Uzor Kalu, has urged Nigerians to unite in advancing the peace and progress of the country.
The senator called on Nigerians to remain united and committed to the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, stressing that Nigeria remains the common heritage of all citizens.
He further appealed for continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and his re-election in 2027.
Kalu made the appeal in Sokoto during a reception organized by Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko after the commissioning of developmental projects executed by Governor Ahmad Aliyu.
He commended the developmental projects, saying they were clear evidence of purposeful leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people.
The senator praised the infrastructural transformation taking place across Sokoto state, which have direct impact on the socio-economic development of the state.
He also commended Sen. Wamakko for his work in the National Assembly, saying he has distinguished himself as a respected leader worthy of emulation.
Kalu described his relationship with Wamakko as one built on mutual respect and shared commitment to national unity and progress of Nigeria.
According to him, Wamakko remains a political leader whose advice and experiences are valuable to the country’s democratic development.
