The newly elected Chairman of the Association of Fowl Sellers in Gwagwalada Area Council, Mallam Abdullahi Adamu, has called on the Executive Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Mohammed Kasim, to actively engage and carry marketers along in local administration.
Adamu made the appeal on Monday while speaking to journalists shortly after the inauguration of the association’s new executive members at the Gwagwalada Main Market.
Adamu urged the local government to look into the unique challenges and needs faced by poultry sellers.
He also called on his newly sworn-in executive team to work cohesively to improve the welfare of their members, while reminding traders to remain honest and operate with the fear of God.
The newly inaugurated executive members tasked with steering the affairs of the association include: Chairman – Mallam Abdullahi Adamu, Vice-Chairman-Alhaji Bello Mustapha, General Secretary- Mallam Usman Jibrin Gambo, Financial Secretary – Mallam Usman Y. Baba, and Treasurer- Mallam Mustapha Abdullahi Labaran.
