2027: Gov. Radda congratulates Shettima on retention as Tinubu’s running mate

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his retention as President Bola Tinubu’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda described the decision as a reflection of the President’s confidence in the Vice President’s performance and commitment to the administration.
According to Radda, Shettima has served diligently since assuming office, contributing to key government initiatives and policy implementation.
He noted that the Vice President has chaired the Presidential Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), while also playing prominent roles in energy security initiatives and the administration’s economic policy discussions.
Radda said the responsibilities assigned to Shettima required administrative experience and sound political judgment, adding that the decision to retain him indicated satisfaction with his handling of those assignments.
The governor, on behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, congratulated the Vice President, describing the retention as recognition of his dedication and service to the country.
He also expressed confidence that Shettima would continue to contribute to the administration’s objectives if re-elected in 2027.
