Improved Security Driving Kaduna’s Growth Surge — Sule Shu’aibu, SAN

Date:

Kaduna State’s decisive security gains are translating into economic growth, rising investor confidence, and accelerated development across the state, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Sule Shu’aibu, SAN, has declared.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Uba Sani at the National Summit on Security, Leadership, and Economic Development at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja, Shu’aibu noted that under the current administration, peace has become the foundation for sustainable prosperity.

”Security is no longer just about protecting lives and property. In Kaduna today, improved security is creating opportunities, attracting investments, stimulating commerce, and laying the groundwork for long-term growth,” Shu’aibu stated.

The Commissioner explained that Governor Uba Sani’s people-centred security strategy—anchored on proactive policy interventions, stronger intelligence sharing with federal security agencies, and direct community engagement—has restored confidence among citizens, businesses, and investors.

He noted that safer communities have enabled government development programmes and private sector investments to flourish unimpeded across key sectors of the economy, positioning Kaduna as one of Nigeria’s most viable destinations for local and international capital.

Describing the summit as timely, Shu’aibu commended Governor Sani’s inclusive leadership, emphasizing that the state’s security achievements stem from deliberate, well-coordinated governance rather than chance.

Reaffirming the administration’s commitment to the SafeKaduna for All agenda, Shu’aibu assured residents and stakeholders that the state will consolidate existing gains to make Kaduna a national model for peace, stability, and inclusive economic development.
