The Management of Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), has expressed the desire to enter into partnership with MC-MARCX Limited, a private hostel developer, to complete five uncompleted hostels and construct staff quarters for Principal Officers, Deans and Directors on a build, operate and transfer agreement.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Khalid Othman, who spoke during an interactive session with the company officials, said the decision was taken “to give more students the opportunity to get accommodation on campus which is cheaper and secure.”

Prof. Othman was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Abubakar Sadiq Suleiman.

He said the collaborative decision to accommodate both staff and students at the Main Campus was apt and in line with the agenda of FUDMA Management to move about nine faculties to the campus.

This, he said,  would give the university the chance to put all unused facilities at the main campus into proper utilization for academic excellence.
