President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Monday evening after spending six days in Lagos, the Presidency has said.
The President departed for Lagos on Tuesday, September 29, after concluding his annual vacation in London and Paris.
His return to the Federal Capital Territory comes after a series of engagements during his stay in the nation’s former capital.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed the development in a statement.
Tinubu addressed Nigerians on October 1 as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Later that day, he attended the national premiere of MKO, a documentary chronicling the life, political struggle and legacy of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.
The premiere was held at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Lagos.
On Sunday, the President paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Akiolu, at the monarch’s Iga Iduganran Palace on Lagos Island.
Tinubu is expected to arrive in Abuja later on Monday as he resumes official engagements in the nation’s capital.
