Head Coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere has selected a team of 25 Golden Eaglets that he believes will make Nigeria proud at the WAFU-B U17 Championship starting in Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso on Saturday.

The team left Nigeria through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja for Ouagadougou.

Five-time world champions Nigeria have been drawn in group B of the championship, which is a qualifying tournament for next year’s U17 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Morocco.

The Eaglets will confront Niger Republic and Burkina Faso in the group stage, with hosts Burkina Faso to battle things out with Ghana, Togo and Benin Republic in group A.
