Minna: TAN pavilion collapsed due to over crowdedness – Gov Aliyu

Aliyu added that the over crowdedness of the pavilion was responsible for its collapse.

The pavilion, he said, was designed to accommodate only 30 people but ended up sitting over 100 people.

Earlier, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger state council of Chiefs, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar had consoled the government and people of Niger state over the incident and directed the Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa Fari to pray for the continued protection of all the leaders in the country and for peace to reign in the land.
