2015: Group calls for support for Niger Deputy G ov

A pressure group known as the Niger Consensus Project has called on the people of Niger State to give maximum support to the candidature of the deputy governor, Ahmed Musa Ibeto for the 2015 gubernatorial election in the state.

The group spokesman, Aliyu Mohammed Gambo made the disclosure while addressing journalists in Minna saying that Ibeto has been proved prudent, trustworthy, loyal, experienced and a grass root politician who gave his maximum support for the success of Dr muazu Babangida Aliyu’s led administration in the state.

Gambo stated that the vision of the group was to promote and mobllize the people of the 25 local government area of the state for 2015 guber election, describing Ibeto as a bridge builder, patient and the most experienced among all those who has indicated interest for the exalted position in the state.

He said “Ibeto is the right person for the job because he has proved himself to be honest, trustworthy, loyal who can carry out the activities of government to the next level especially vision 20:20:20 noting that he has the love and support of the people of the state who can lead the state to promised land” he said.

The group co ordinator in Chanchaga local government, Hajiya Mariam Yakubu stated that going by the track record of the deputy governor, he is a people oriented leader, grass root man who started his politics from ward level, a man loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who has the political will to deliver Niger state to next level of development.
