DG BPE donates medical equipment to 6 General Hospitals in Kebbi

The Director-General (DG), Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE), Mr. Benjamin Dikki, has donated medical equipment to six general hospitals in Kebbi State.

The hospitals that benefited from the donation are the General Hospitals in Zuru, Wasagu,Bena, Ribah, Dirin Daji, Senchi and Mahuta, all in Zuru Emirate Council of the state.

The DG, during the commissioning ceremony of the equipment by the Emir of Zuru, Maj Gen Muhammadu Sani Sami II (rtd) yesterday in Zuru, said he had also taken other initiatives in the area of water supply and sponsored the sinking of bore holes, provision of overheard tanks, solar panels and the piping of water to every building in Mama Arziki Secondary School and the UMCA compound.

Dikki thanked the Emir of Zuru, and the Chief of Dabai Kingdom, Alh Isah Sami, both of whom according to him, “insisted that this handing-over ceremony of my donation of medical equipment and supplies to the hospitals in the Emirate must be celebrated and publicized.

The Emir of Zuru, while expressing the Emirate’s gratitude, also conferred Dikki with the title of Sarkin Yakin Zuru.

He called on all well-to-do sons and daughters of the Emirate to emulate the DG in the service of Zuru people.
