According to the Metro, the Gunners have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Barcelona star Pedro Rodriguez. The Spanish international has found himself on the fringe of the starting line-up this season and was replaced by Luis Suarez for last night’s El Clasico.
And now Pedro has reportedly told Barca he wants out, with Arsenal in the box-seat for his signature. It is thought Arsene Wenger was interested in the winger this summer but will be forced to pay £25million if he wants to land him. Pedro has enjoyed success at the Camp Nou especially under former boss, Pep Guardiola where he won a lot of trophies. If he thus moves, he would be joining former team mate, Alexi Sanchez at the Emirates in January.
