Group urges Dakingari to pick credible PDP guber aspirant

The chairman Youth Transformation Agenda for Sustainably Democracy Kebbi State chapter Alhaji Haruna Baba has called on the Governor Usman Saidu Dakingari and Kebbi PDP elites to go back to drawing board by picking credible PDP candidate for the forthcoming 2015 Governorship election.

He made this called while addressing newsmen yesterday along bypass road in Birnin Kebbi, adding that the chances of PDP to win the governorship election is to work out a strategy to bring old hands who have the political structures in order to ensure success and progress of the party.

‘’You see now people are looking for those that suffered and are relevant to the people at the grassroots, the national party should not mistakenly impose any candidate on the masses. I am telling you what is going on at the grassroots’’ he stated.

He cautioned that Kebbi State which have been described as a peaceful state should not be turned into a state of violence during election stressing that INEC should not use the military during elections so as not to cause disharmony.

The chairman, who commended the efforts of the present administration for transforming the state by constructing more roads, schools and hospitals across state but urged Dakingari to re-consider the person that would succeed him by using either his old friends or anybody that is acceptable to the people.
