Supporters of former Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, George Daika have picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial nomination form for him to contest for the Plateau South Senatorial seat.
While speaking yesterday at the state Secretariat of the PDP in Jos during the presentation of the nomination form to Daika, leader of the supporters, Kungs Tadious Taylgang said that supporters of the former speaker from six local government areas which include Shendam, Quan’pan, Kanke, Wase, Langtang North and Langtang South have raised the funds to pick the PDP nomination form for the aspirant to contest for Plateau South Senatorial seat.
He said that their decision to pick the form for Daika came as a result of his previous track records and political antecedents. “Because of him performance when he was tested as member of the State Assembly and House Representatives, we the people of Plateau South Senatorial Zone called him to represent us in the upper chamber, the Senate”.
“I accept this call as a divine call, I am very grateful for this kind of trust. I will remain faithful to you and discharge my responsibility with the fear God and serve you diligently. I believe I know the prerequisite of legislation, but I alone cannot do it, I need your support and prayers for us to achieve our goals”.
