2015: Ex Perm-sec joins House of Reps race in Kaduna

Former Permanent Secretary, General Services Office in the office of Secretary to the Government of Federation, Charles Bonat, yesterday picked nomination form of All Progressive Congress (APC) to contest for House of Representatives in Kaura Federal Constituency of Kaduna state.

The ex- permanent Secretary said he picked the form to enable him grant the demand for change in the state, saying change is inevitable and will pursue it because of the situation his people are in today.

Bonat arrived APC secretariat in Kaduna in company of hundreds of his supporters, who were received by party officials.

“On my own, I was inspired to come out because we are dissatisfied with poor representation on ground in my constituency and we want to change the situation. I am coming with series of experience gathered in civil service at both state and federal levels and so we are determined to do it”, he said.

He added “My coming into APC is to prove to all our people that change is inevitable and we should come together through APC and change our situation. No one should feel isolated or rejected, let us come out and do the needful and free ourselves from the mess we are in now”.

In his remarks, the state party chairman, Hon. Bala Bantex, expressed happiness that people like Bonats have joined APC to aspire for elective position, and therefore wished him goodluck, as he set to represent his constituency.
