Kaduna medical union chairman bags traditional title

The Chairman of Kaduna Medical and Health Workers Union, Comrade Emmanuel Abdullahi Wudiri has been conferred with a traditional title of Kuyanbanan Godogodo chiefdom, in the southern part of the state.

According to the chiefdom, he was given the title because of his contribution to the development of the chiefdom and its people.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief of Godogodo, Malam Iliya Ajiya described Comrade Wudiri as the epitome of peace. He further challenged other professional sons and daughters of the chiefdom to always play a role that will lead to the upliftment of the standard of living of the area.

“Our sons and daughters that find themselves in different field of endeavours have major role to play towards developing Godogodo chiefdom and its people. Gone are the days when people depend on government for essential services, but we should endeavor to contribute our quota to support our chiefdom,” he said.

The chief also enjoined the new Kuyanbana to use his experience in the medical field to help improve health-related activities in the chiefdom and environs.

In his remarks, National President Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, Comrade Ayuba Wabba enjoined the celebrant to continue with his selfless service to his people.
