NANS endorses Abdullahi for Senate

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has endorsed Talatu Shehu Abdullahi, to contest for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District Zone.

Speaking while presenting the endorsement letter to her in her resident in Kaduna, the representative of the National President, Comrade Ayo Ayotade, said the moves to endorse her for the position is attributed to her qualities of good leadership and acceptance and the spirit of acceptance.

He pointed out that Hajiya Talatu is a selfless fellow, with a large heart of accepting every one that comes her way, even as he further described her as role model, a mentor, motivator and extra ordinary person whom they deem fit to honor with the endorsement.

However, the group acknowledged her resilient and tireless effort to liberate humanity and therefore urged her to keep the spirit burning, as she contests for the senatorial sit under the umbrella of PDP.

In her acceptance speech, Talatu Shehu expressed satisfaction and commended the student union for developing interest in her to contest for the senate.

According to her, she was overwhelmed with the way the student union reacted to the bid, describing it as a great honor done to her.

She promised to tackle some of the challenges faced in the educational sector, especially those ones that affects the students directly.
