Robben scores 100th goals for Bayern

Date:

Arjen Robben scored his 100th goal for Bayern Munich as they beat Freiburg to stretch their unbeaten run to 20 matches in the Bundesliga.

Robben, 30, joined Bayern from Real Madrid in 2009 and has won three league titles and the Champions League.

He opened the scoring with a header from Franck Ribery’s cross before Thomas Muller headed in a rebound to wrap up the win.

Coach Pep Guardiola has now won 42 of 50 Bundesliga games, losing just twice.

Bayern had 31 shots to Freiburg’s two, and enjoyed 82% of possession. Munich is now 12 points clear of Wolfsburg at the top of the table as they chase a third straight title win.
