From Godwin Agia, Jalingo

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State on Tuesday solicited more support to enable him actualize his administration’s transformational agenda for Taraba State.
Agbu made the demand while reacting to the Appeal Court rulling in Abuja that validated his election as Governor of Taraba.
Peoples Daily reported that the appeal court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday, put aside the appeal by the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Prof. Sani Yahaya, challenging the decision of the Taraba State Governorship election petition Tribunal in Jalingo for lack of merit.
In a press statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communications, Mr Emmanuel Bello indicated that Governor Agbu Kefas has since described the judgment as the will of Tarabans.
Statement noted that, Agbu appealed for more support to enable him actualize his administration’s transformational agenda for Taraba State.
“My victory at the court of Appeal is yet another demonstration of how the people’s will trump other consideration. It is a judgement for democracy and the victory of light over darkness.”
