Abia NDE Coordinator to take charge of FCT

Abia state National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Mrs. Edna Ngozi Ofordile, has been appointed to take charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the same capacity.

A statement issued yesterday by the Head Information and Public Relations of the Agency in the FCT, Adulraham Mohammed, said the appointment was approved by the Director General of NDE, Malam Abubakar Mohammed.

Mrs. Ofordile, a Deputy Director, replaced the erstwhile Coordinator of the NDE FCT, Mr, Romuliyu Oludare Newton, who has proceeded on retirement, after attaining the statutory age of sixty.

Until her deployment, Mrs. Ofordile, a graduate of building Technology with an M.B.A, from the University of Nigeria (UN) Nsukka, was the Abia state Coordinator of the NDE since 2005.

In view of her new assignment, she will also serve as the Vice Chairman and member Implementation committee (SIC) of the Community Service Women and Youth Employment (CSWYE) project of SURE-P in the FCT.

Sensitization on implementation of FOI Act for directors and some top management officials of agencies and departments under the FCTA.
