Abuja bombing: Onazi dedicates goal to victims

Date:

The Super Eagles Midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has dedicated his goal in Sunday’s 4-2 loss to Napoli to the victims of the explosions in the country’s capital Abuja yesterday.

The blasts occurred at a bus station in Nyanya, on the outskirts of the federal capital, killing more than 70 people.

Onazi, a social media savvy player, dedicated his first ever Serie A goal for Lazio to the victims of the terror attack.

“I dedicate my goal to the victims of the explosion, that happened this morning,” Onazi wrote on his Twitter account.

“I hope by the grace of God the families have the strength needed to manage everything,” the Lazio midfielder concluded.
