As Nigerian Christians and Christians worldwide, celebrate the occasion of Christmas 2025,the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) offered prayers for God’s grace and mercy to be bestowed upon the country and its citizens, in the hope of alleviating prevailing economic, social, and political challenges.
This was conveyed in a statement signed by Prof. T. A. Muhammad-Baba, the National Publicity Secretary of ACF.
In the statement, ACF acknowledges that this year’s Christmas arrives at a time when many families are struggling to survive, with millions of individuals, particularly in the North, facing dire conditions.
It added that ACF hopes that Nigerians, regardless of their faith or political beliefs, will continue to pray for a return to peace, prosperity, and progress.
The Forum also prayed that Nigerian leaders, both temporal and spiritual, at all levels, as well as citizens, will be endowed with wisdom, empathy, love, truth, honesty, faith, and righteousness in their service to the people and the nation.
According to the statement, ACF prays for the strengthening of Nigeria’s security agencies in their determination to combat terrorism, insecurity, and criminality, as well as other threats to the nation and its people.
The Forum expresses hope that 2026 will bring about a more resilient, determined, and inclusive country for the benefit of all citizens, regardless of their ethnicity, faith, political beliefs, or social status.
