Action Alliance tackles Kalu over disparaging comments on Tinubu

The Action Alliance (AA) has taken a knock on Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu over his alleged disparaging comments about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that his comments on the President showed that he lacks courtesy.
Describing Kalu as an impersonator, the party said the outburst of the politician in an interview was uncouth and expressed worry about why a man who has shady records and questionable precedence would result in public harassment on the person of the President.
National chairman of the AA, Dr Adekunle Rufai Omoaje in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday said the outburst of Kalu was unexpected of a man whose records are full of shady deals.
According to Omoaje, “A situation where you have an undercover and supposed legal mind getting himself involved in unprofessional acts of cutting corners with abuse of court processes involving filing cases in the name of clients without briefs, then interrogation of such conducts deserves diligent attention.”
He described him as an impersonator, saying that in an interview with a frontline television station attempted to feign the ubiquitous mind of justice in an attempt to earn pounds for porridge cashing in on the trending news in town.
According to the statement, “Watching a presumed legal mind disparaging the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu riding at the nonexistent time and resource wasting matters concerning the Chicago State University saga, we were appalled at the level of deception displayed in that interview.
“We in Action Alliance can say without mincing words that Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu does not and has not earned any level of moral pedigree to go to the marketplace like he did tell the world that he has an understanding of moral values. This is the same man who used various unprofessional sharp practices to file cases in the name of our party without briefs from us, only to go and withdraw the same having negotiated for undue and undeserved sleaze, and proceed like a quisling.
“It was our findings that a team of unprofessional, confused, and desperate lawyers filed frivolous suits against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima on grounds that they are not qualified candidates worthy of being on the ballot.
“Given the dubious acts of Barr Kalu Kalu Agu, we filed various applications in the Federal High Court (Abuja Division) as interested parties and got judgments against him.
“Just to mention a few. Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu filed a Federal High Court case no: FHC/ABJ/CS/1256/2022, Action Alliance vs. INEC, APC & BOLA TINUBU and ors, without any brief from the Action Alliance. In another matter also at the Federal High Court in suite no. FHC/ABJ/CS/1154/2022 Action Alliance is being. INEC, NNPP, RABIU MUSA KWAKWANSO, and ors without any brief from the party as well.”
He filed these cases to win personal aggrandizement from respondents at the expense of the party without being engaged.
