Wife of the Adamawa state Governor Hajiya Lami Fintiri has charged parents and guardians especially at the rural areas to ensure enrolment of their children in schools for pursuance of education.
Making her position public through a press statement issued by her press Cordinator, Mary Adamu in Yola weekend,Hajiya Lami said parents must play their obligatory role of securing a better future for their children.
The statement highlighted that” As the world commemorates the international day for Education,the First Lady of Adamawa state,Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri has added her voice on the need for parents /Guardians to send their children and wards to school”.
Mrs Fintiri noted that without inclusive and equitable education, no country will develop.
She regrettably observed that the one year existence of the COVID 19 pandemic affected children and human development, assuring that the administration of her husband has revived the education sector.
“The leadership of Governor Fintiri is improving and increasing opportunities in diverse areas especially for the womenfolk “.
