The Adamawa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has expressed gratitude to the electorate for their support which made the party victorious in two wards out of three at the last Saturday’s councillorship bye election in the three local government Areas.
Organising Secretary of the party,Alhaji Hamza Madagali made the position of the party known in an interview with journalists in Yola, yesterday, stressing that the success story in the concluded bye election in Lamurde,Guyuk and Shelleng councils were acceptability test of the party by voters.
Madagali said the laudable achievements recorded by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration across the state was an added advantage to the party’s councillorship candidates in Guyuk and Shelleng councils to emerged winners in the contest.
Recalls that the demise of three councillors of Kiri ward in Shelleng council,Guyuk ward in Guyuk council and Lamurde ward in Lamurde local government council informed the bye election in to their vacant seats which PDP clinched two ward while APC won one seat accordingly.
