The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa yesterday inaugurated seven committees for President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to the state.
The President is scheduled to visit Yola on April 29 for the PDP unity rally where he is expected to receive some APC defectors including Alhaji Buba Marwa and Marcus Gundiri.
Addressing members of the committee at the ceremony, the state chairman of PDP, Chief Joel Madaki, urged party members to cooperate with the committees to ensure the success of the visit.
He also urged the committee members to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The committees inaugurated are Publicity, Protocol, Security, Field, Entertainment, Finance and Transport. (NAN)
