Adamu, Modu Sheriff, Okechukwu to attend Media Roundtable on 2023 polls

National Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu will on Friday lead dignitaries to a media roundtable on the 2023 general election.

The event which is part of the annual lecture series of the APC Press Corps will be chaired by a former Governor of Borno state, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff and hosted by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka.

A statement issued by the Chairman, Organizing Committee of the event, Mr Babatunde Ayeni disclosed that party chieftain and Director General of Voice of Nigeria VON, Mr Osita Okechukwu would make a lead presentation titled; “The Press; The Public: Critical Agents for Effective Democratic Deliveries in 2023 and beyond”.

The APC Press Corps, a platform for accredited representatives of all the major media organisations covering the activities of the ruling party.

According to the organizers, the aim of the event which holds at the ‘Buhari House’ National Secretariat of the party by 9am “is to improve its cordial relationship with the rank and file of the ruling party for better coverage of party policies and programmes, thereby helping to deepen our democracy”.
