After much delay, the interim coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen has released the list of 28 players that will represent the country in Cameroon.

All the regular players under former coach Gernot Rohr made the list except for Tyrone Ebuehi and Kelvin Akpoguma who were dropped.

The list witnessed the first invitation of Almeria striker Sadiq Umar and Kelechi Nwakali while Enyimba a goalkeeper John Noble was the only local player named on the list.

The team camp will open in Abuja on December 29th while they will depart for Cameroon on the 5th of January, 2022.
