A fresh suicide bomb blast attack has occurred in Tsithla Village in Madagali Local government Area of Adamawa state killing the two male suspected Boko Haram bombers and two of their victims.
Reports from the village ( Tsithla) revealed that,at about 7:30 pm of Sunday,a loud sound was had by nearby villagers.A situation that forced most people to took to their heels for safety.
An impeccable source told our correspondent that,it took the bravery of a member of the vigilante ,who summoned courage to entered the house of the slain elderly woman and her son who were attacked and killed by the suicide bombers.
He explained that,the bombers sneaked from near Sambisa forest which is just a stone throw to the village and gatecrashed in the late woman’s house before detonating their improvised explosive device killing themselves and the two victims.
A vigilantes who spoke to our reporter said the bodies of the two attackers and those of their victims were recovered from the scene on Monday morning when residents trooped to witness the damage.
In another attack on Irmirsa community, a Fulani herder was said to have been wounded while cattle and sheep were taken away on Sunday by suspected members of Boko Haram.
Confirming the attacks ,Madagali Local Government Council Chairman, Muhammad Yusuf said two male attackers sneaked in to the village and detonated two bombs, killing themselves and two of their victims.
He also confirmed the attack on Irmirsa community, saying one of the insurgents died in shoot out and that local hunters and soldiers had mobilised to track down the terrorists.
Yusuf appealed to the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency re-enforce more troops to the area lamenting that due the closeness of Sambisa Forest to his Local government,fleeing insurgents now unleash the
ir terror on innocent citizens at will.The area had been under Boko Haram control befooreits liberation in 2015.
