A legal practitioner, Blessing Agbomhere, has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Etsako Federal Constituency of Edo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration, according to a statement issued by the Blessing Support Organizations (BSO), took place at Auchi Public Field in Etsako West Local Government Area, marking what supporters described as the beginning of a new phase of purposeful leadership and development for the constituency.
The group noted that Agbomhere has built a reputation as a committed progressive, grassroots mobilizer, and advocate for youth inclusion, party growth, and democratic development.
It added that his consistent record of loyalty, service, and people-oriented engagement has earned him widespread confidence among constituents.
“As a lawyer, communicator, strategist, and patriot, he possesses the experience, intellect, and courage required to provide effective representation at the National Assembly,” the statement read.
According to the organization, Agbomhere’s vision focuses on inclusive development, economic empowerment, infrastructure renewal, improved security, youth and women advancement, educational support, and increased access to federal opportunities for the people of Etsako.
The group emphasized the need for dynamic and responsive representation, noting that the constituency deserves leadership that understands its challenges and is committed to delivering lasting solutions.
It therefore called on party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups, market associations, professionals, and community leaders across Etsako East, West, and Central to support the aspiration.
“This movement is beyond politics. It is about restoring confidence in leadership, empowering the people, and securing a brighter future for the next generation,” the statement added.
Top APC leaders and party stalwarts in the state were present at the declaration.
The organization expressed confidence that with unity and collective support, Agbomhere would emerge victorious and provide effective representation for the constituency.
