Agboyi close to Israel move

Former Flying Eagles midfielder Ovbokha Agboyi is closing in on a move to Israel side Hapoel Tel Aviv after impressing during a two week trial

The 20 year old who represented Nigeria at the last Under-20 world cup in Turkey where he played in four of Nigeria five games is currently on the books of Albania side KS Elbasani where he has made 13 appearances with two goals to his name.

The transfer of the former Bayelsa United man is expected to be announced before the end of the week as discussions with his primary owners is already underway.

Hapoel Tel Aviv have been also linked with Super Eagles defender Azubuike Egwuekwe with some reports claiming he has sign a deal while others to the contrary however the club as early as last year had Benjamin Francis and Harmony Ikande in their team before they were released.
