Some aggrieved northern lawyers who pulled out from the recently concluded Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference said the formation of New Nigerian Bar Association (NNBA) has become imperative and expedient.
This was contained in a letter toAttorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami by the conveners of the new group, Barrister Nuhu Ibrahim and Barrister Abdulbas Suleiman and made available to media in kaduna yesterday.
The letter dated 28th August 2020 stated that this was especially as a result of the disposition of NBA NEC which failed to take into consideration national interests and particularly do not promote the unity of indissoluble country.
