AIG Auwal Assumes Duty As 25th Commandant of Police Academy
The new Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Auwal Musa Muhammad, assumed duty on Thursday with a pledge to give priority to the welfare of personnel and cadets.
The Commandant, who addressed the staff and cadets, charged them to uphold discipline, dedication, and strict cleanliness.
He said he would close all communication gaps to foster real teamwork while warmly praising past Commandants for their sacrifices. He vowed to build upon their achievements to collectively push the Academy to the apex.
Until his appointment, AIG Auwal was in charge of Zone 6 Headquarters, Calabar. He was also the AIG Zone 3 Adamawa, and Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Police Command, as well as Commandant Police College Maiduguri.
