A release issued by his spokesman, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said Al Mustapha is deeply worried by the widening depth of distrust among Nigerian youth.

According to Al Mustapha, no meaningful development could ever be achieved in an atmosphere of distrust and mutual suspicion.

He said the youth everywhere in the world form the essential corner stone for development and urged Nigerian youth to foster greater unity across religious and regional divides.

“Now more than ever before, Nigeria needs the cooperation of its youth as it experiences the tough conditions that historically characterize every journey to national greatness and prosperity”, Al Mustapha said.

He urged the youth to collectively identify and key into the variety of meaningful development projects provided by both public and private sectors in the country.

Meanwhile, the Northern Emancipation Network in a separate release reiterated its call for President Goodluck Jonathan to appoint Al Mustapha head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissioned in order to give meaning to the fight against graft.

The group’s coordinator in Benue state Mr Jonathan Ibrahim said Al Mustapha possess the requisite intelligence and courage to move the graft war to the next level.
