Nigeria midfielder, Ibrahim Alhassan, has linked up with Portuguese club, CD Nacional on a four-year contract.
The Nigerian midfielder featured for Austrian club, Austria Wien on loan from Nigeria Amateur side, FC Hearts.
“Ibrahim Alhassan will be a player of the National CD in the next four seasons,” the club announced on their official yesterday.
“Following the trip by the president of the National CD, Rui Alves, to Nigeria, talks were held with the president of FC Hearts, which eventually led to an agreement between the clubs.
“Alhassan is a technical offensive midfielder with three appearances for Nigeria. He participates in the scheduled training session tomorrow.”
The former Akwa United star was earlier set to join another Portuguese club, SC Maritimo but the deal broke down over disagreement on transfer fee.
CD Nacional is back in the top flight after spending one season in the Portuguese second division.
