The Alumni Association of Kaduna Polytechnic has expressed its support for the upgrading of the institution to university.
The Chairman Caretaker Committee of the Association, Honourable Abba Anas Adamu stated this while fielding questions from Journalists in Kaduna yesterday.

The alumni association chairman contended that in view of the current challenges facing the Kaduna Polytechnic there should be fairness in the allocation of resources in the running of similar institutions in the country
He stressed that Kaduna Polytechnic being the biggest in Africa should be giving special attention to continue to produce competent technicians, engineers and other professionals .
On the much talked about plan by the National Assembly to epend thirty seven billion Naira for the rehabilitation of the Assembly complex, Abba Anas Adamu advised the leadership of the assembly to precisely tell Nigerians what they will do with such huge amount of money, to be able to convince them.
Commenting on the alumni association’s plans for the new year, the Caretaker Committee Chairman said plan is on top gear to conduct election for substantive leaders .
He added that during the year the association would also start using its reviewed construction for effective leadership .
Honourable Abba Anas Adamu therefore expressed worry that the alumni association lacked office accommodation for effective running of its activities, hence the need for assistance in that direction
