Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu

The Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu have felicitated with Muslims in the council on the commencement of Ramadan.

Maikalangu urged residents of AMAC to use the period to pray for the unity, peace and harmony in the council.

He spoke in his Ramadan message yesterday while at the Ganako family, in Guzape community of the AMAC in the FCT, according to a statement from his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki.

He noted that as leader in position of authority, he needs prayers for divine intervention to take the entire council to the promised land.

He further enjoined the Muslim faithful in AMAC to use this period to pray for the FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and his administration to continue with his developmental strides towards the people of the the FCT.

He added that all eyes have seen and, ears have heard, and all can testify that the FCT Minister, Bar. Wike is working perfectly in FCT.

Furthermore, the AMAC boss called on wealthy individuals and groups to support the needy during and after Ramadan as enjoined by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He assured that the council will do everything  meaningful possible to reduce their burden during this Ramadan period, and thanked all the Muslim community in AMAC for all their support to his administration.
