ANA promises to expose students to intellectual fairs

Date:

The Niger state Chairperson of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Hajia Farida Mohammed, said the association would continue to bring students of post primary schools for annual intellectual fairs.

Mohammed said that the forum was aimed at showcasing the talent of student in post primary schools in Niger in creative writing, drama presentation, quiz competition and painting among other exhibitions that value to their talents.

She said this at the 20th Annual Schools Carnival of Arts and Festival of Songs (ASCAFS) held at the U.K Bello Arts Theatre in Minna.

Mohammed said that the annual event would enable students to acquire skills which would impact positively on their studies, saying that many of the students have one talent or the other but because the talent was hidden and undeveloped it did not benefit them.
