A Senatorial Aspirant on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, Francis Inegbeneki, has listed vulnerable groups for empowerment if he is elected to represent Edo Central Senatorial district in Edo State in 2019 general elections.
Inegbeneki is seeking election on the platform of the APC barely four years ago when he attempted the same exercise, but lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.
The aspirant spoke during an audience with the Enigies of Esan at the palace of HRH, Zaiki Solomon Izuwaye, Ojeaga of Ujiogba.
He lamented the poor representation and neglect suffered by the people of Esanland and promising to make laws that would improve the funding of education, build capacity for teachers, skill acquisition and adequate legislative support for entrepreneurship in the rural areas.
According to him, “My mission to the National Assembly shall be anchored on a total redemption of Esan people from political wilderness and economic stagnation. It shall revolve around the seven major pillars I have outlined”.
“I will be an accessible and responsible representative of the Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, I have a passion for children, the youths, women, elders and the less privileged members of the society”, he said.
