The All Progressives Congress (APC) mourns the passing of Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello, mother of the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello and the matriarch of the Bello Ipemida Ochi family.
In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Lanre Issa-Onilu, APC said “In her deeds, actions and dispositions, the late Hajiya Hauwau Bello was a mother to all.
“As Mama is buried today in accordance with Islamic rites, we take solace with the fact that she lived an impactful and exemplary life that positively shaped the lives of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many adopted children and all others who crossed her path.
“As we pray for the repose of her soul, the task before us now is to sustain and build on Mama’s enduring legacies.
“The Party prays Almighty Allah grant her Al-jannatul Firdaus and comfort all family members and loved ones in this time of grief.”
