Kaduna State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada (rtd), yesterday inaugurated two committees to ensure that the party is victorious in the forthcoming Sanga and Kagarko State House of Assembly re-run elections scheduled for Saturday, 25th January.
Jekada urged them to ensure success of the party in the re-run elections, pointing out that the task before them has been made easier by the successes recorded by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-rufai in all facets of governance across the 23 Local Governments of the State.
The two committees comprising of both local stakeholders and steering members, have Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Yusuf Zailani, Deputy Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, as Team Leader for the Sanga House of Assembly re-run.
Similarly, Political Adviser to the Kaduna State Governor, Hon. Ben Kure, is the Team Leader for the Kagarko State House of Assembly re-run election.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa, who was the Special Guest of honour at the occasion, commended the composition of the committees and implored the members to be vigilant before, during and after the election, so as to ensure that their competence translates into victory.
