From Ibrahim Sidi Muh’d, Gusau
A Chairmanship aspirant and a chieftain under the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Zamfara State in the northwest zone, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has declared his withdrawal from the race.
In a press briefing at his Gusau residence, Shinkafi, said his decision to withdraw from the contest followed the party’s agreement to opt for zoning formula.
He further stated that, “My decision to withdraw as Chairmanship aspirant was informed by what has unanimously decided on the zoning formula by both the stakeholders of the APC and the caretaker committee.
